This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course is developed for existing workers in the industry who may require CPR training as recommended by the ARC.

 

 

Important Information Prior to Enrolment

This course is delivered and assessed on behalf of Allen's Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 by Yamba Grafton First Aid.

The following unit(s) wil be awarded to successful participants in this course. The certificate will be issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

  • Face to Face - 3 hours - full face to face course
  • Blended delivery - 2 hours face to face course - with the addition of 1 hours self-paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course.
  • Refresher training - 2 hours - You will need to provide previous current certificates.

Participants undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessments which include the following: Performance Tasks, Practical Scenarios and Theory Assessments consisting of multiple choice questions.

The participant must successfully complete all Performance Tasks, Practical Scenarios and Theory Assessments in order to be deemed competent. 

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.
